Located on the Atlantic coast, Atlantic Beach is a small seaside community about 25 minutes directly east of downtown Jacksonville. The city includes Mayport Naval Station and Seminole Beach to the north, is bordered by Neptune Beach on the south, and its western boundary extends to the Intracoastal waterway.
Much of the development in the city has been residential, and homestyles range from beachfront condos, to densely-situated beach bungalows, to suburban-style communities. Atlantic Beach’s approximately 14,000 residents enjoy a relaxed, beach lifestyle.
